Glen Jones

Glen Jones started his career in the mineral exploration industry over 35 years ago mapping underground stopes and logging drill core.
He later founded Mineral Information Maps, a company which compiled data bases and monitored global exploration activity.
In 1992 he developed the 'Hot Play' map concept and began publishing maps that showed rapidly developing area plays around the world. These maps have become a world standard for information.
He merged his company with Intierra Resource Intelligence in 2003. Intierra developed a web based application for bringing together all levels of technical, financial and spatial data.
Since joining Intierra, Glen has been instrumental in the expansion and development of the data base and web based applications.
Today Intierra monitors global exploration and mining on a daily basis and offers subscriptions to their detailed data bases.
They continue to produce 'Hot Play' and global commodity maps from their Canadian and Perth offices.
Glen is the Executive Director for Western Hemisphere at Intierra.
